Teaching has always been more than a job for me, it’s been a calling. As a special education teacher, I found joy in creating safe, engaging, and inclusive learning spaces where every student felt seen, heard, and capable. Every lesson I planned, every strategy I adapted, came from a place of deep care and commitment to helping my students thrive.
Over time, I began to notice something: I was just as passionate about designing learning as I was about delivering it. I loved crafting materials, rethinking how content was presented, and using technology to make lessons more interactive and accessible. That spark grew into something bigger—a desire to support learners not just in one classroom, but across broader learning environments.
That’s what led me into the world of instructional design and eLearning. Today, I blend my classroom experience with design thinking and learning technologies to create meaningful, learner-centered experiences. My heart for teaching hasn’t changed, it simply found a new home in designing learning that empowers, inspires, and connects with people in lasting ways.
