This interactive eLearning course was developed using the ADDIE instructional design model. During the analysis phase, I leveraged professional judgment to identify essential learning areas promoting healthier lifestyle choices. Based on these insights, I created a structured course outline, guiding learners through an engaging journey from basic nutrition concepts to real-world application.
The design phase included mapping content flow beginning with an introduction to healthy eating, progressing through building a balanced plate, dispelling nutritional myths, and culminating in a hydration module with interactive drag-and-drop activities. Learning objectives were crafted based on Bloom’s Taxonomy, targeting the domains of understanding, application, and creation.
In the development phase, I used Articulate Storyline 360 to build multimedia-rich slides, incorporating visuals, knowledge checks, and interactive assessments to enhance learner engagement and accessibility.
The course was implemented on SCORM Cloud, allowing easy deployment, learner tracking, and access without institutional LMS restrictions.
Evaluation was conducted through embedded quizzes, learner feedback during course testing, and SCORM Cloud analytics to monitor completion rates and engagement patterns. Informal learner feedback was used to refine minor course elements for clarity and improved navigation.
By the end of the course, learners will be able to:
Make nutritious food choices
Balance their meals effectively
Develop sustainable healthy eating habits
